This is the analytics endpoint for email campaigns sent by Mera Cannabis through the ShapeShifter mail blast agent. It records two things for each campaign message: whether the message was opened, and whether any link inside it was clicked.
Every campaign email carries a unique per-recipient token. When the email is opened, the message requests a small tracking image from this endpoint, and the open is recorded against that token. When a recipient clicks a link, the link routes through this endpoint, the click is recorded, and the recipient is immediately forwarded to the real destination page. No personal information beyond the campaign recipient address is stored, and no third-party advertising or analytics network is involved at any point.
Open tracking is directional, not exact. Many corporate mail clients block remote images by default, which understates opens, while some privacy proxies pre-fetch every image, which overstates them. Click tracking is far more reliable, because a click is a deliberate action by a real person. Both figures are reported alongside delivery and bounce data taken directly from the sending mailbox.
This endpoint is operated internally by Mera Cannabis for its own mailings. Questions about a message you received, or requests to be removed from a mailing list, should be sent as a reply to the original email.
